Policies and legislation we support, toward the goals of reforms to protect Government By the People and For the People, including Getting Money Out of Politics – Protecting the Equal Right of ALL Citizens to Vote in Free, Fair & Secure Elections in which every Vote Counts – and Ending Partisan Gerrymandering:
- For the People Act of 2021, Senate Bill 1 pending in the 117th Congress. “A bill to expand Americans’ access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, strengthen ethics rules for public servants, and implement other anti-corruption measures for the purpose of fortifying our democracy, and for other purposes.” The full text of the Bill can be found HERE.
The Bill includes provisions addressing Election Integrity, Election Security, Conflicts from political fundraising, needed Disclosure requirements for online and other political ads, prevention of Deceptive Practices and Voter Intimidation, Ethics in Public Service, stopping of improper Super PAC-Candidate coordination, Redistricting Reform to limit gerrymandering, and other provisions.
